چکیده

Landslides are a natural disasters that frequently occur in the northern mountainous region of Vietnam. This study aims to compare efectiveness Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Frequency Ratio (FR) modeling mapping susceptibility landslides with support Geographic Information System (GIS). The area is Van Yen district Bai province, which experiences high frequency annually. Ten factors were used as variables model, including lithology map, slope, aspect, plan curvature, profile topographic wetness index, fault network, river road land cover data. landslide statistical report 211 points create ratio while pairwise comparison method based on expert opinion was establish weights for AHP method. results produced spatial distribution five levels: very low, moderate, high, high. Area Under Curve (AUC) evaluate performance both models. indicated model using outperformed by 4.7% addition similarity between maps past locations.

A GIS-based comparative study of the analytic hierarchy process, bivariate statistics and frequency ratio methods for landslide susceptibility mapping in part of the Tehran metropolis, Iran

The high hillsides of the Tehran metropolis are prone to landslides due to the climatic conditions and the geological, geomorphologicalcharacteristics of the region. Therefore, it is vitally important that a landslide susceptibility map of the region be prepared. For thispurpose, thematic layers including landslide inventory, lithology, slope, aspect, curvature, distance to stream, distance to ...

Landslide Hazard Zonation with Frequency Ratio Method (Case Study: Forest of Mazandaran Wood and Paper Industry)

The Landslide is one of the natural hazards that causes a lot of mortal and financial losses in high-altitude and seismic mountainous areas annually. Considering the importance of roads as a pillar of sustainable forest management in this study, we have tried to estimate the sensitivity of landslide occurrence in 8 forestry series with using frequency ratio approach. Initially, the slip positio...
